What does it mean to link Disneyland tickets?

If you've purchased Disneyland Resort tickets, you'll want to link them in the Disneyland app ASAP so that you can make a park reservation using Disneyland's new system. (If you have purchased tickets through Disneyland directly, you already made your reservations when you purchased.

Tickets can only be linked once in My Disney Experience, which explains the error message you receive when you try to link the same ticket to multiple accounts. To view and make plans with your friends, Wendi, the key is to connect with everyone in your party as Family & Friends in My Disney Experience.

Click on the “Tickets and Passes” tile. Click on the blue “+” in the upper right corner, and select “Link Tickets & Passes.” Enter the ticket ID code from the confirmation email you received at the time of purchase, click submit, and you're all set!

Each person in your family does not need a separate My Disney Experience account but should be included on your account for easy planning. If you need to add your spouse or kids, sign into your My Disney Experience account. Choose Family & Friends then go to the bottom where you have the option to Add a Guest.

You'll do this by visiting the “Tickets and Passes” section of the App and tapping the '+' symbol in the upper-right hand corner. Use the “Link Tickets & Passes” button to add each person. Repeat these steps on each mobile device that you wish to link tickets to.

A: Yes. If the ticket has not yet been used, you can reassign a ticket to another person on your Family & Friends list. To do so, visit the My Reservations section of My Disney Experience, locate the ticket you wish to reassign and select the “Reassign Ticket” link to the right of the ticket.

Scroll down past My Plans, Reservations and Tickets and toggle over to Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker. Here, you'll be able to view your theme park tickets and the Guests to whom they're linked.

To do this, download and log in to the Disneyland app. From there you will click on the three lines on the bottom right corner of the app and then click on Ticket and Passes. Here you can add the rest of your family's tickets to your account. I will note that it is okay to have tickets on more than one account.
