What does Princess Cruises Green Lane mean?

Green Lane – Guests who have completed all steps of the Travel Checklist in Ocean Ready via the Princess MedallionClass app or the web-based OceanReady at Princess.com ?, and chose to have their Medallion(s) shipped to them (U.S. and Puerto Rico only). With Green Lane, guests enjoy the most streamlined embarkation.

The "Green Lane" is a status within Princess Cruises' "OceanReady" boarding process that indicates a guest has completed every mandatory pre-cruise requirement. To achieve Green Lane status, you must use the Princess MedallionClass app to upload your passport details, take a "security selfie," provide credit card information for onboard spending, and complete all health and travel declarations. Most importantly, for U.S. and Puerto Rico residents, you must choose to have your Princess Medallion (your wearable key/ID) shipped to your home before the cruise. When you arrive at the terminal with Green Lane status, you enjoy the most streamlined embarkation experience possible; you essentially bypass the traditional check-in desks, have your travel documents validated by a roving staff member, and proceed directly onto the ship. It is designed to turn a tedious hour-long process into a 10-minute "walk-to-the-ship" experience. If you haven't completed these steps or didn't have your Medallion shipped, you are placed in the "Blue Lane," which requires a slightly longer check-in process.
