What happens if you have a nut allergy on a plane?

Meals and snacks may contain peanuts or nuts. The airline will not create any buffer zones or make onboard announcements. Inform the crew that you have a peanut or nut allergy. They will make an announcement that nuts will not be served and nut products should not be consumed.
