What hours does the Disneyland Monorail run?

The Disneyland Monorail is currently operating on the same schedule as Disneyland Park. For instance, this month since the park is open 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., the Disneyland Monorail will operate during those hours as well. Guests with early entry privileges can board the Disneyland Monorail at 7:30 a.m..



The Disneyland Monorail typically begins operating at the same time the park opens and continues until approximately 30 minutes after park closing. In February 2026, if Disneyland Park opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 11:00 PM, the monorail will usually run from 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM. However, travelers should be aware of a major scheduled closure: the system is set to shut down for a significant refurbishment beginning March 30, 2026. During its operational hours, the monorail serves as both a nostalgic attraction and a functional transport link between the Tomorrowland station inside the park and the Downtown Disney District station. It is important to check the Disneyland app on the day of your visit, as the monorail often closes temporarily during daily fireworks displays or due to extreme heat, which can affect the electronics of the beam-way.
