A Disney Deluxe Villa resort represents the highest tier of accommodation at Walt Disney World and is primarily associated with the Disney Vacation Club (DVC). These resorts, such as Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas or The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian, differ from standard hotel rooms because they offer "home-like" amenities. A typical villa ranges from a Deluxe Studio (which includes a kitchenette) to 1-, 2-, or 3-Bedroom Grand Villas that feature full designer kitchens, spacious living areas, private balconies, and in-room washers and dryers. While these properties are designed for DVC members, they can be booked by any guest using cash or by "renting points" from a member. Guests staying at Deluxe Villas receive the same premium perks as other "Deluxe" guests, including Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, which provide extra time in the parks after they close to the general public. These resorts are ideal for large families or groups who want the luxury of a world-class resort combined with the practical ability to cook meals and have separate sleeping quarters.
