What is early morning magic at Disney?

Early Morning Magic is NOT a free benefit offered to Disney hotel guests. For $89 per adult and $79 per child (neither tax nor park admission included), enjoy breakfast and exclusive access to select attractions in Fantasyland for 75 minutes prior to official park opening.

In 2026, the term "Early Morning Magic" has largely been replaced by "Early Theme Park Entry," which is a standard benefit for guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and select other partner hotels. This perk allows eligible guests to enter any of the four Walt Disney World theme parks 30 minutes before the official public opening every single day. During this time, high-demand attractions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, and Avatar Flight of Passage are operational with significantly shorter wait times. This is different from the former "After Hours" or "Extra Magic Hours" events, as it is a shorter window but occurs daily across all parks. To take advantage of this, you must have a valid park admission and stay at a participating resort. It is a vital strategy for "rope dropping" the most popular rides before the general crowds arrive. Note that while the 30-minute head start seems small, it is often enough to complete one or two major headliner attractions before the standby lines swell to their peak afternoon lengths.
