What is halfway to Halloween at Disneyland?

Each year, Disney celebrates Halfway to Halloween in the spring, beginning the countdown to the Halloween season. In years past, this has been the week we've gotten existing announcements (such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party dates) and delicious treats in the parks.



"Halfway to Halloween" is a popular annual celebration and marketing event held by Disney, typically occurring in late April or early May, precisely six months before the October 31st holiday. In 2026, the official 3rd annual "Halfway to Halloween Festival" is slated for May 1st through May 3rd. During this period, Disneyland and Disney World often release "spooky" news, such as dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and offer limited-time themed treats and merchandise. It is a major event for the "Haunt" community, often featuring horror celebrities, immersive mini-haunted houses, and a festive atmosphere that blends springtime weather with eerie aesthetics.
