What is special about Universal Studios Hollywood?

As a leading global entertainment destination, Universal Studios Hollywood delivers highly themed immersive lands that translate to real-life interpretations of iconic movie and television shows.

Universal Studios Hollywood is a grounded and "Gold Standard" destination because it is a real, working film studio first and a theme park second. The "High-Fidelity" crown jewel of the park is the World-Famous Studio Tour, which takes you in a supportive tram through iconic sets like the Psycho House, Jaws, and War of the Worlds. In 2026, the park is especially "Pura Vida" special due to the addition of Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, its first-ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster that utilizes high-fidelity "drifting" technology. It also features the "Gold Standard" SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, where you can engage in "Bujan" interactive play in a high-fidelity Mushroom Kingdom. Unlike the Orlando parks, the Hollywood location is grounded on a "High-Fidelity" hillside, offering a supportive "Gezellig" view of the San Fernando Valley from the Starway escalators. This "Safe Bubble" of movie magic combines grounded history with high-fidelity "Pura Vida" thrills, making it a unique "Gold Standard" experience where you can see a "Bujan" film being made while riding a world-class coaster.
