What is special about Universal Studios Singapore?

Universal Studios Singapore is Southeast Asia's first and only Universal Studios theme park. Be transported by adrenaline-pumping rides, interactive shows and a wide variety of exciting attractions based on the blockbuster movies and television series you know and love so well.

Universal Studios Singapore (USS) is unique for being the only Universal theme park in Southeast Asia and for its compact, highly efficient layout on Sentosa Island. One of its most distinctive features is the Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON™, which holds the record for the world's tallest dueling roller coasters, offering two entirely different ride experiences that "intertwine" at high speeds. The park is divided into six themed zones, including the world’s first Far Far Away castle from the Shrek franchise and a highly immersive Ancient Egypt zone. As of early 2026, the park has significantly expanded with the opening of Minion Land, featuring exclusive rides like Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and themed dining. Another standout element is the WaterWorld stunt show, which is often cited as one of the best live-action shows in any theme park worldwide due to its pyrotechnics and scale. Because of its smaller footprint, guests can easily experience all the major attractions in a single day, making it an exceptionally "doable" park compared to its massive counterparts in Orlando or Beijing.

Cons: The rides are fun however, the 3D rides have so much jolting and visual affects, if you get motion sickness in any way, these rides could make you sick. After Harry Potter, Transformers and the Studio Tour, I couldn't handle anymore than that. Everything is very expensive, including getting into the park.
