What is the best way to get from Bangkok airport to the city?

The Airport Rail Link is the cheapest and fastest way out of the airport and into downtown Bangkok. When you arrive, follow the signs for the train station, which is located on the basement floor. The train will take you directly to Makkasan Station in about 35 minutes.

It depends how far you are going. In Bangkok, you actually do not want to take a tuk tuk because they charge more than a taxi. Take a taxi with a meter and you will get the best rate. Make sure before your taxi driver agrees to use the meter before he starts driving, even if his taxi has a sign that says meter on it.
