What is the difference between Hilton Honors Gold and Diamond?
Hilton Diamond status is the highest elite status level you can achieve and offers additional perks like up to Suite-level space-available room upgrades, a 100% point bonus on stays, premium Wi-Fi access, a 48-hour room guarantee and even the ability to give Gold elite status to another Hilton Honors member.

If you don't plan on staying at Hilton properties at least once per year, it's not worth obtaining Gold or Diamond status, even if you're just getting it through a credit card. It may also not be worth it if you typically stay at limited-service properties where upgrades are unlikely and breakfast is free to all.
To qualify, you must complete 30 stays, stay 60 nights or earn 120,000 base points in a calendar year. However, primary cardholders of the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card (see rates and fees) enjoy complimentary Diamond status as a perk of their card.
