What is the highest membership on United Airlines?

Membership Levels The United MileagePlus program offers basic membership and Premier membership. Premier is divided into four main levels: Premier Silver, Premier Gold, Premier Platinum and Premier 1K. MileagePlus also offers the invitation-only United Global Services program for its most loyal customers.

The highest "earned" membership tier in United's MileagePlus program is Premier 1K®. To reach this elite level in 2026, travelers must meet a high threshold of either 60 Premier Qualifying Flights (PQF) and 22,000 Premier Qualifying Points (PQP), or simply 28,000 PQP. Benefits include 280 PlusPoints for upgrades, a 100% mileage bonus, and "Instant Upgrades" on full-fare economy tickets. However, there is an even more exclusive, invitation-only tier called United Global Services®. This is reserved for the airline's most valuable flyers—typically those spending over $50,000 annually—and offers unparalleled perks like "Mercedes-Benz tarmac transfers," a dedicated check-in wing at major hubs, and the ability to "create" award space on flights that are technically sold out.
