What is the hurricane policy for Disney tickets?

Hurricane Policy – Frequently Asked Questions If you are scheduled to arrive within 7 days of a hurricane warning, you may call us in advance to reschedule without a Disney imposed change fee.

Disney World's official hurricane policy for 2026 states that if a hurricane warning is issued by the National Hurricane Center for the Orlando area—or for your place of residence—within 7 days of your scheduled arrival, you may reschedule or cancel your vacation package and most park tickets without any cancellation fees. If you have already started your trip and the parks close due to a storm, Disney typically extends the expiration dates for partially used multi-day tickets. For "wholly unused" tickets, you are generally allowed to apply the value toward a future visit, though you may have to pay the difference if the new dates are in a higher price tier. This policy only applies to packages and tickets booked directly through Disney; if you used a third-party travel agent or airline, you must contact them separately to manage their specific cancellation or change policies.
