What is the main hotel at Atlantis called?

The Royal is the icon of Atlantis, featuring awe-inspiring mythology of the Lost City of Atlantis risen from the sea. From the magnificent lobby to The Dig, The Royal is larger than life.

At both of the major Atlantis resort complexes, the "main" or most iconic hotel is called The Royal. At Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas, The Royal (formerly known as the Royal Towers) is the architectural centerpiece, featuring the famous "Bridge Suite" that connects the two towers and appears in countless films and travel brochures. It is themed around the mythical lost city of Atlantis, with grand murals and the "Dig" aquarium located in its lower levels. At Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai, the central building is also simply referred to as the main hotel or "The Royal," following a similar grand design with a signature central archway. While the Dubai resort recently opened an even more exclusive sister property called Atlantis The Royal, the original "Atlantis, The Palm" remains the primary, family-friendly landmark. Both locations are designed to serve as the heart of the resort, providing the closest access to the Aquaventure Waterpark and major casino or dining facilities.
