(Updated April 11, 2023.) To bring you up to speed, TRON Lightcycle Run is now open at Magic Kingdom. The attraction is already proving to be one of the most popular rides at Walt Disney World, and is relatively unique in NOT offering a traditional standby line.
Each day, guests with valid admission and a Magic Kingdom park reservation will be able to attempt to join the virtual queue for TRON. You can attempt to join the virtual queue at 7 a.m. from anywhere or 1 p.m. inside Magic Kingdom. Each guest may only join the virtual queue once per day.
It feels fast, but smoother than Big Thunder and Space Mountain. Tron is definitely not a family coaster. It has a height restriction of 48 first of all, and the launch is as intense as many extreme coasters. Seven Dwarfs and Slinky Dog are family coasters.
