Journey of Water is a new attraction — the first ever inspired by Moana — opening in EPCOT's World Nature on October 16th, 2023! The attraction is a walkthrough trail where guests can “play with magical, living water” in an immersive way.

Fireworks are seasonal throughout the year and typically are only shown daily during peak seasons due to the proximity of the Disneyland Resort to the neighbors/businesses in Anaheim.

This show isn't perfect, but it's darn good. Right off the bat, the music of Epcot attractions of old pulls at your heartstrings with songs from icons like Horizons and the original Journey Into Imagination.

As a whole, the visuals of Harmonious are pretty. The fountains, lasers, lights, and other effects are eye-catching and engaging. If you have a direct view of the Stargate, you'll likely leave impressed. The use of screens leaves something to be desired.

It's over. The end of an error. The final two “taco” barges have been removed from World Showcase Lagoon, signaling the end of Harmonious at EPCOT. Harmonious was originally designed to be a long-term replacement for Illuminations, but the unsightly hardware for the show proved to be its downfall.

Epcot Forever is definitely less of a production than both IllumiNations and Harmonious, but as always fireworks shows at Disney tug at your heartstrings and are really a perfect ending to any park day.

So when should you visit for the lowest crowds, generally? Go on a Wednesday! Fewer guests head to EPCOT mid-week and you can hopefully then walk up to the festival booths without having to wait in long lines. As a bonus tip — make sure to visit the festival booths early in the day.

Off-peak times fall around January, February, September, and early November. Discounts on vacation packages booked directly through Disney (which combine park tickets and hotel stays) can be found year-round, though they're most common at these less-crowded times.
