As a whole, the visuals of Harmonious are pretty. The fountains, lasers, lights, and other effects are eye-catching and engaging. If you have a direct view of the Stargate, you'll likely leave impressed. The use of screens leaves something to be desired.
The final two “taco” barges have been removed from World Showcase Lagoon, signaling the end of Harmonious at EPCOT. Harmonious was originally designed to be a long-term replacement for Illuminations, but the unsightly hardware for the show proved to be its downfall.
However, I do have a couple of favorite nighttime spectacular viewing locations that I'd be happy to share with you! The patio outside the Italy pavilion is my go-to place to watch Harmonious. Not only can you grab some gelato near this location, but you'll also have a very centered view of the show.
With that said, our actual advice is visiting Epcot on a weekday. Mondays through Wednesdays are all equally good. We've noticed a slight uptick in crowds on Thursdays, and a more significant one on Fridays. Still, not nearly as bad as Saturday or Sunday.

Ultimately, the answer to the question, “should you skip Epcot?” is ABSOLUTELY NOT as of 2023. Navigating the sea of construction walls isn't really as bad as it might seem–and while it'll be a lovely environment once finished, there aren't any rides you'll miss in that Giant Epcot Dirt Pit.
2023 marks the end of its transformation with Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, opening Oct. 16. World Celebration will also be completed in December with a new statue of Walt Disney in an area called Dreamers Point and a new exhibition space called CommuniCore Hall.
In general the best days of the week to visit the Disney World parks are Tuesday and Wednesday. The reason being is many families find that you need an entire week for a Disney vacation and typically arrive on Saturday or Sunday. Epcot Forever is definitely less of a production than both IllumiNations and Harmonious, but as always fireworks shows at Disney tug at your heartstrings and are really a perfect ending to any park day.
The Skyliner is a great way to see the show! For Disney Enchantment, your ride of choice would be the ferryboats and for Harmonious it would be the Disney Skyliner.
