The smallest Disney theme park in the world is Hong Kong Disneyland, which encompasses approximately 68 acres (27.5 hectares). Despite its compact footprint, it is a world-class destination that features a highly efficient layout and some of the most advanced attractions in the Disney portfolio, such as "Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars" and the "World of Frozen," which opened in late 2023. In contrast, Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom in Florida is about 107 acres, and Disneyland Park in California is roughly 85 acres. The small size of the Hong Kong park makes it very manageable for families with young children, as it requires significantly less walking than its massive American counterparts. However, the resort as a whole is currently in a state of expansion, and while the "park" itself is the smallest, the level of detail and the unique blend of Chinese culture with Disney storytelling make it a "must-visit" for 2026 travelers.
