Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is the smallest Disney resort in the world, covering approximately 310 acres (126 hectares) on Lantau Island. Within that resort, Hong Kong Disneyland itself is also the smallest individual Disney theme park, although recent expansions like "World of Frozen" have significantly increased its footprint and capacity. Despite its compact size, the park is praised for its efficiency and "charm," featuring a unique Castle of Magical Dreams that pays tribute to 13 different Disney princesses and queens. In contrast, the largest resort, Walt Disney World in Florida, covers over 27,000 acres, making the Hong Kong site less than 1.5% the size of its Floridian sibling. This smaller scale is actually a benefit for many visitors, as it is much easier to navigate the entire park in a single day without the exhaustion often associated with the larger American counterparts.
