The famous Via dell'Amore, Lover's Lane, is closed due to a landslide and will reopen in July 2024. At the moment only the first 200 meters from Manarola are open. An alternative is the trail Via Beccara from Manarola to Riomaggiore here below.

If you are willing to make the climb to the top (or the bottom) you will be rewarded with spectacular views and crystal clear waters and mostly probably (almost) deserted streets and beaches. There are actually quite a few places worth a visit at Corniglia - even for its small size.
If you want a much easier hike, definitely hike from Vernazza to Monterosso (and not vice versa). The trail is much easier and Monterosso has the best beach of all five villages — so you can relax on the beach after your hike! Be sure to bring water and snacks on your hike!
