Conditions Of Entry All bags, backpacks, purses and packages are subject to X-ray and/or additional inspection prior to entering the theme park. Coolers, suitcases and bags with wheels are prohibited. We recommend you leave unnecessary articles in your car and secure valuables in your trunk.

By bringing your own water, not only will you save time waiting in lines, but you'll also save money. While Universal Studios Hollywood isn't as lenient as the Disneyland Resort about bringing in outside food, you can bring water bottles (maximum 2 liters), baby food, small snacks, fruits and vegetables into the park.

Yes they are allowed, but the park doesn't make filling them convenient. They won't let you fill them at the soda machine…. you have to find water fountains. I work at the park and yes they are allowed.

Loose articles like cell phones, cameras, umbrellas and keys are prohibited at most attractions, and should be left with a non-rider or secured in a locker.

Single-Time Use Lockers at Attractions Standard-sized lockers (14 in x 5.5 in x 16.9 in): for small loose articles are free while you ride. Larger lockers (12 in x 13 in x 16.9 in) for oversized items can be rented for an additional fee.

Express Pass will allow you to walk on to nearly all the attractions at Universal Studios Hollywood and you often never wait more than 10 minutes. You can easily ride every single ride in the theme park and still have time to enjoy experiences, dining, and meeting characters.

Make sure you've got strong swimmers if you plan to do the Ohno and Ohyah drop slides. These two body slides plunge into a 10-foot-deep pool! Volcano Bay does not provide any free towels, so be sure to bring your own if you do not want to rent them (it costs $7).

Yes, but you have to pay for them ($6 as of 2023). So take your own to avoid having to rent Volcano Bay towels. Hotels don't want you to take their room towels to the water park, so I highly recommend traveling with thin linen towels. I talk more about these in my packing post.
