What size are the beds at Disney College Program?

With thousands of eager students applying to the program every year, the competition is fierce. The Disney College Program acceptance rate currently rests at about 20%. The good news is that students who are rejected are always welcome to try again when the next round of applications opens up.

The program is aimed towards that 'average' college age, 18-23, but non-traditional students are welcome to apply and do get accepted!

Students who are registered for a single class must successfully complete that class to remain eligible. All students must have completed 12 credit hours and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA. These credentials must be fulfilled by the conclusion of the semester that precedes the DCP internship.

There are three different bedroom/bathroom apartment configurations, each designed for 4 people. You can choose from (from lower to higher cost order) a 2BR/2BA, with each bedroom and bathoom shared; a 4BR/2BA, with private bedroom and shared bathroom; or a 4BR/4BA with private bedrooms and bathrooms.

Participants are responsible for the housing cost for their apartment each week (Sunday – Saturday) that they are on the program. Please review your signed payroll deduction request form for the weekly rate of your apartment.

If you don't already know how to cook, it would be a good idea to learn before you arrive. Unlike college, the DCP does not offer meal plans and eating out will get very expensive. If you plan to live in housing, you should be aware there are very strict rules.

The Disney College program stands out by offering a starting pay rate of $16 per hour, which is slightly more than the average college worker is used to.

Once you apply, you will be asked to do a web-based interview. If you pass, you'll have to then complete a phone interview. You might have to wait either a few weeks or even a few months to get results.
