Do you pay rent in the Disney College Program?

Participants are responsible for the housing cost for their apartment each week (Sunday – Saturday) that they are on the program. Please review your signed payroll deduction request form for the weekly rate of your apartment.

Yes, participants in the Disney College Program (DCP) are responsible for paying rent, which is conveniently deducted directly from their weekly paychecks. As of 2026, most participants live in the "Flamingo Crossings Village," a state-of-the-art housing complex specifically designed for Disney programs. Rent prices vary based on the type of apartment and the number of roommates, but generally range from $185 to $250 per week. This cost is inclusive of all utilities (water, electricity, waste), high-speed Wi-Fi, and access to premium amenities such as resort-style pools, fitness centers, and study lounges. Because the rent is deducted automatically, participants never have to worry about missing a payment or managing a separate bill. While some students find the cost high compared to off-site housing, the price includes the "Disney lifestyle" and the convenience of dedicated shuttle transportation to the theme parks and resorts for work. It is worth noting that if a participant's weekly earnings are less than the cost of rent (which can happen during weeks with low hours), they are still legally obligated to pay the balance to the housing department.
