All visitors must pass immigration to exit the transit area before visiting Jewel. Jewel is conveniently connected to all four terminals (allow sufficient time for travelling between terminals).
JEWEL EARLY CHECK-IN LOUNGEEarly check-in is available from 3 hours up to 24 hours prior to your flight at the Jewel Early Check-in Facility, located at Level 1 of Jewel Changi Airport (opens daily from 08:00AM to 12:00AM).
To take the Skytrain through the Jewel, you need to take the train between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. If you are in Terminal 1 or 4, you need to get to Terminal 2 or 3 in order to switch to the train that passes through the Jewel. You can take this train from both public areas and secured areas of the airport.
Jewel is conveniently connected to all four terminals (allow sufficient time for travelling between terminals). If you have limited time and don't want to exit the transit area, you can see Jewel from the skytrain that runs between T2 and T3.
However, The Jewel is located landside before security. If you're transiting and already after security, you might be told you have to clear immigration to get landside to see it. That's not true. It's true to be at The Jewel you need to be landside, but not just to see it.

Passengers in Terminal 4 have to go to Terminal 2 first by Airport Shuttle Bus and then get to Level 3 to find the link bridge to get to Jewel. But whether you are an airline passenger or not, the Jewel Rain Vortex located under a huge dome in Jewel Changi Airport is a must see.
Before the opening of Terminal 3, the Skytrain system was upgraded from the original Adtranz C-100 system to the new Mitsubishi Crystal Mover system, which expanded the service from a simple 2-station line to a 7-station network. All Changi Airport Skytrain services are free of charge.
Changi Airport MRT station is in between Terminal 2 and 3, if your departure is Terminal 1, you had to follow the sign to take the monorail to Terminal 1, inside the MRT station also have the information of the arrivals and departures airline.
