What time are Disney and EPCOT fireworks?

The EPCOT fireworks showtime is usually 9:00pm, every night. Epcot Forever is a temporary show, they run it while they are doing lagoon work so it's short and to the point.

In late February 2026, the standard showtimes for the primary nighttime spectaculars at Walt Disney World are 9:00 PM for both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. At Magic Kingdom, the fan-favorite "Happily Ever After" fireworks and projection show typically begins at 9:00 PM, though the park often features the "Disney Starlight" nighttime parade at 7:45 PM and 10:00 PM. Over at EPCOT, the nighttime spectacular "Luminous The Symphony of Us" also generally starts at 9:00 PM to coincide with the park's closing time. It is important to note that these times can shift by 30–60 minutes depending on the specific day's park hours or special events (such as After Hours parties). To get a good viewing spot, especially for the castle projections at Magic Kingdom, you should aim to find a place in the hub at least 45–60 minutes before the show. Always check the "My Disney Experience" app on the day of your visit for the most accurate, real-time schedule, as weather or technical issues can occasionally cause short-notice delays.

Epcot Forever is a temporary show, they run it while they are doing lagoon work so it's short and to the point. It runs at approximately 11 minutes or so each evening, which is perfectly quick for tired families but also may be a bit underwhelming compared to other fireworks spectaculars at Disney.

There is no separate charge to watch these spectaculars – they're included with park admission. Since the better viewing spots, whether seated or standing, are first-come, first-serve, people often stake out a spot early and stay there until it's time for the show to start.

The are both really good. Epcot does not have a parade so a combination of the Dinner, Spectromagic parade & Wishes Fireworks could be pretty wonderful. But IllumiNations may give you a better day for your park hopper dollar if MK is closing early for some reason.

When it comes to attractions, Epcot will have more to do in 2023 than it did in the last few years. Plus, Epcot has better atmosphere and food options than any other park at Walt Disney World, which is especially true and important as the phased reopening continues.

With that said, our actual advice is visiting Epcot on a weekday. Mondays through Wednesdays are all equally good. We've noticed a slight uptick in crowds on Thursdays, and a more significant one on Fridays. Still, not nearly as bad as Saturday or Sunday.

The nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks show is estimated to cost Walt Disney World anywhere from $40,000 to $50,000 a night, but what is Disney really getting out of keeping people in the parks later than normal?

Walt Disney World Epcot – Best for Ages 8 to 14 It's a great theme park for intellectually curious kids (and adults) but not the best for little kids under the age of 8. Older kids will enjoy some of the major thrill rides (like Test Track and Mission: SPACE) and may really enjoy World Showcase.

The two sections of the park are very different in atmosphere and offerings, so it is like you're visiting two parks in one. Even with so much to see, Epcot can easily be visited during a single day.
