What time does EPCOT Skyliner close?

The themed gondolas are fun to see gliding across the sky and riding in one adds an extra bit of pixie dust to your day. The operating hours for Disney Skyliner vary based on theme park hours, but they typically start running around 8:00 AM and go until 10:00 PM.



In early 2026, the Disney Skyliner at EPCOT follows a standard operating schedule that typically closes 90 minutes after EPCOT officially closes for the day. For example, if EPCOT closes at 9:00 PM, the Skyliner will usually continue to run until 10:30 PM to accommodate guests leaving the park. However, travelers in 2026 must be aware of a specific maintenance window: the entire Disney Skyliner system is scheduled for its annual refurbishment from January 25 to January 31, 2026, during which time all lines will be completely closed. During this week, Disney provides extra bus transportation to the impacted resorts (Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, and Riviera). On normal days, the Skyliner is the most efficient way for guests at the International Gateway (near the France pavilion) to return to their hotels. It is always a good idea to check the "Transportation" section of the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit, as the closing time can be extended during "Extended Evening Hours" or for special ticketed events like the International Festival of the Arts.

As long as you can get to one of the stations, you can ride the Skyliner for fun. You cannot stay on the Skyliner round trip though, you will have to get off and back on at a stop. Luckily, this is rarely going to involve any wait at all (unless you're riding for fun at park opening or closing time).

Often Skyliner will start running 30-60 minutes prior to park opening. Ask at your hotel what time it will start running. Don't forget to allow time to board Skyliner during rush hour, wait times can be 15-20 minutes during this period. Yes, another reason to get an early start on your day at Walt Disney World!

I think you'll be happy to know that you can still absolutely walk from Disney's Hollywood Studios over to EPCOT or vice versa if you prefer. The walk itself is about 20-25 minutes depending on your pace and can be absolutely stunning on a sunny day.
