What time is the market in Puerto Pollensa?

The Market of the town of Puerto de Pollensa is held every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the central part of the town. The market takes place throughout the year although it is during the tourist season when we find the largest number of stalls.

The traditional outdoor market in Puerto Pollensa (Port de Pollença), Mallorca, takes place every Wednesday morning. It typically begins around 9:00 AM and officially runs until approximately 1:30 PM or 2:00 PM. The market is held in the town's main square, the Plaça Miquel Capllonch, and overflows into the surrounding side streets. It is a vibrant, must-visit event where locals and tourists alike browse hundreds of stalls selling everything from fresh Balearic produce (like lemons, olives, and Sobrassada) to locally crafted leather goods, jewelry, and bohemian clothing. If you want to experience the market at its best, it is recommended to arrive before 10:30 AM to beat the mid-day heat and the heaviest crowds that arrive via tour buses. After 1:00 PM, many vendors begin packing up their stalls, though the nearby cafes and restaurants in the square remain busy as visitors sit down for a post-market lunch in the sun.
