What time should I get to Animal Kingdom to ride Avatar?

Thirty minutes before the official opening of Animal Kingdom, on-site guests will be allowed to enter the park. If you are on-site and are entering during Early Theme Park Entry, we recommend you go straight to Flight of Passage (and only if you can do so pretty speedily).

Since Avatar Flight of Passage remains the most popular ride in Animal Kingdom, you should visit early in the day or nearer park closing time. It's open for Early Theme Park Entry, and you can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane (ILL) to shorten your wait.

In my opinion, it's the best of all the 3D flying simulator rides. The line for Avatar Flight of Passage was consistently long throughout the day, at one point reaching 150 minutes toward the early evening. The good news is, that Disney offers a limited number of lightning lane entrance passes, but they do go quickly.

Hands down, we thought Avatar Flight of Passage was the best ride at Animal Kingdom — heck, it is definitely the best ride at Walt Disney World! It is no surprise this made it to the top of the list for our best rides at Disney for teens too! (Although we haven't had a chance to visit Galaxy's Edge yet.)

At Flight of Passage, there are cubbies located on a wall behind the ride vehicles. The vehicles themselves configured like a motorcycle, with no floor on which to stow items. Everything you bring must be put into a cubby. Soarin' and Mission Space are both listed above as attractions with a built-in storage for bags.

Pandora has two rides. The Na'vi River Journey is the Pandora boat ride that brings you through an underground calming cave-like experience on the boat. Na'vi River Journey is very beautiful, slow-moving, and relaxing, but it's only about 5 minutes long. In general, we don't wait for more than 45 minutes for this ride.
