When can you make a second Genie Plus reservation?

How many ride reservations can be made at a time with the Genie+ service? Guests are able to make one reservation at a time–with the ability to make a subsequent reservation immediately upon tapping into an attraction or pursuant to the 120 minute rule.

If your first booking is more than 2 hours after the park opens, you'll have to wait until 2 hours after park opening and not 2 hours after you booked. If your most recently booked Genie+ ride time is LESS than 2 hours away, as soon as you tap into the tapstiles at the attraction, you can book your next one.

While you can't book more than one Genie+ reservation at once, you can hold multiple Genie+ reservations at a time by utilizing the 120 Minute Rule. This is called Genie+ stacking. You are also able to have both a Genie+ reservation and an Individual Lightning Lane entrance at the same time.

Can Genie+ sell out? Yes. It can. Although it isn't common, we've seen it happen a few times during busier times of the year (like over the holidays and Spring Break).

After you make that first Lightning Lane selection at 7 AM you can make your second one 2 hours after the Theme Park you have a Theme Park Reservation opens. Now, if the last Lightning Lane reservation you made is used because you tapped into the ride, canceled it or it expired then you can book another one.

You can reserve a Genie+ Lightning Lane reservation once every two hours or once you've redeemed your Lightning Lane reservation. You can only ride each attraction once using the Genie+ selection. If you want to ride something again you will need to use the standby line.

The Genie 120-minute rule says that you can make a new reservation at most 2 hours from when you made the last one, and this countdown timer doesn't change if you modify the reservation. If you made it at, say, 11 a.m., then your two hours will be up at 1 p.m. even if you modify the reservation at noon.

And no matter how many theme parks you visit, you can only purchase two Individual Lightning Lane passes per day. In addition, like standard Genie+ rides, you can't buy passes more than once for the same ride.

If you miss your Genie+ Lightning Lane reservation for an attraction, that's it for the day. You won't be able to make another one for that particular ride. Sometimes you'll be given a small grace period, but that's up to the discretion of the Cast Member.
