When should I go to St Kitts?

The best time to visit Saint Kitts and Nevis is between February and May, which are the driest months and the temperatures aren't as sweltering. The climate is hot and tropical all year round, with average highs of around 82°F. July to November is the wettest period.

The absolute best time to visit St. Kitts and Nevis is during the dry season, which runs from February to May. During these months, you’ll enjoy the most consistent sunshine, low humidity, and pleasant temperatures averaging around 28∘C. This period avoids the peak of the Atlantic hurricane season (June to November) and the slightly "muddier" rains of late autumn. However, because this is the prime weather window, it is also the most expensive time to visit. If you are looking for a balance between good weather and lower prices, the "shoulder" months of May and June are excellent options; the crowds thin out, but the heavy summer rains haven't yet fully arrived. For those on a strict budget, traveling between July and October offers the lowest hotel rates, but you must be prepared for more frequent tropical downpours and the small but real risk of a tropical storm disrupting your travel plans. No matter when you go, the island's lush, volcanic beauty remains, though the vegetation is at its most vibrant immediately following the wet season in December.
