Where do I get the transfer to Pena Palace?

There is a Shuttle bus. According to updated RS 2023 Portugal pg 166 you buy tickets at the small hut next to the gate or ticket booth outside the main gate, cannot buy them online Or from the bus driver. There is a slight incline walking up from the shuttle up to the palace. May want to bring a hiking pole or cane.

We took the Uber to Pena Palace last month, it is the best option if you have 2 or more people. The uber ride costed around 7 Euro. The bus driver charged you $4 per person for one way ticket.

If you take an uber straight to the Pena palace, that would definitely be easiest (We drove from Lisbon and had to find parking in town and a way to get up the mountain because there is not much parking up there).
