Where does the Disneyland Monorail stop?

The Disneyland Monorail has two stations: one in Tomorrowland, and another in the Downtown Disney District. The original Monorail was a round trip ride with no stops. In 1961, the track was expanded to connect to a station at the Disneyland Hotel, making it an actual transportation system.

The Disneyland Monorail is a high-speed, zero-emission transportation system that serves as both a practical transport link and a classic attraction. It features only two stations where guests can board or depart. The first is the Tomorrowland Station, located inside Disneyland Park above the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. The second is the Downtown Disney District Station, situated near the LEGO Store and the Disneyland Hotel. This allows guests with valid theme park admission to skip the main entrance turnstiles and travel directly into the heart of the park. The journey is approximately 2.5 miles long and takes about 13 minutes for a full round trip, offering unique aerial views of Disney California Adventure Park and the Grand Californian Hotel. In early 2026, the monorail experienced some temporary closures for maintenance, but it remains a staple of the resort's infrastructure. Because it operates on a 600-volt DC power source, it is a quiet and environmentally friendly way to navigate the resort while enjoying a "highway in the sky" perspective of the magic below.
