Where does the Hulk roller coaster rank?

AP Graphics Bank The Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Fla. is ranked 44th on CoasterFanatics.com's best 50 roller coasters list.

The Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal Islands of Adventure consistently ranks as one of the top five roller coasters in Orlando and is a staple in "Top 20" lists for thrill-seekers globally. As of 2026, it is often ranked as the #3 or #4 best coaster in the Universal Orlando Resort, typically sitting just behind the revolutionary Jurassic World VelociCoaster and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. While newer "story coasters" focus on immersion, the Hulk is praised for its "old-school" raw intensity, featuring a unique pressurized tire-launch system that propels riders from 0 to 40 mph in two seconds inside a "Gamma Radiation" tube. The ride features seven inversions, including a 110-foot cobra roll and a zero-G roll, all while maintaining a relatively smooth experience following its massive 2016 track replacement. While it may not be the fastest in the world (top speed 67 mph), its iconic status, nighttime lighting, and high G-force maneuvers (up to 4 Gs) ensure it remains a "must-ride" legend in the competitive Florida theme park landscape.
