Where is the best place on the Disney Wish?

Decks 4 and 5 Deck 4 has always been my favorite spot on Disney ships. Comfy deck chairs, shuffleboard, shade (it's located under the lifeboats) and a great view. Every cruise I try to spend at least an hour just relaxing out there. I'm very happy to say the Disney Wish retains Deck 4.

A: If you're not staying in a Concierge level stateroom, the best deck to stay on Disney Wish is deck 9. On this deck, you will be only 2 decks below the main dining areas and pools. You could stay on deck 10 which is directly below the main amenity deck 11. But book your room with caution!

Since it's your family's first cruise, I would recommend booking a mid-ship or aft stateroom (in that order). Forward staterooms tend to feel the most motion of the sea and just in case you have anyone prone to seasickness, a strategic location might help lessen those symptoms.
