When should I board Disney Wish?

All Guests must board the ship no later than 4:00 pm. Please plan your arrival accordingly to avoid the possibility of not being permitted to sail. For the European and Mediterranean cruises, check-in registration and embarkation typically begins at 11 am.



For the best experience on the Disney Wish, you should aim to board as early as possible by selecting the earliest available Port Arrival Time (PAT) during your online check-in. Disney Cruise Line allows you to check-in 30 days before your sailing (for most guests), and the earliest PATs (usually starting around 10:45 AM or 11:00 AM) are the first to fill up. Your PAT is directly tied to your Boarding Group, and being in an early group allows you to get on the ship by 11:30 AM or 12:00 PM. This early access is crucial for exploring the ship's incredible "Cinderella-inspired" atrium, grabbing a relaxed lunch at Marceline Market before the crowds arrive, and being the first in line for the AquaMouse—the ship's "attraction at sea"—which often has much shorter lines during the embarkation window. If you have a late PAT, you may not get on board until 1:30 PM or 2:00 PM, which significantly reduces your "Day 1" enjoyment and limits your time to secure dining or spa reservations at Guest Services.
