Where is the best place to watch the Disneyland parade?

1. Along the Side of the Castle. Our Number One favorite spot to watch parades at Disneyland is along the side of Sleeping Beauty Castle, before the Alice in Wonderland restrooms. This spot is ideal because it has the best of both worlds: benches and brickside seats.

In 2026, the "best" spot depends on your priority: iconic photos or personal space. For the quintessential "Disney" shot, Main Street, U.S.A. is unbeatable. Watching the floats glide past the Victorian storefronts with Sleeping Beauty Castle in the background is the gold standard. However, it requires arriving 60–90 minutes early. If you prefer a bit more elbow room, head to the tiered viewing area near "it's a small world." This section was specifically designed for parades, and because it is the start (or end) of the route, the crowds are often thinner. For those with a bigger budget, Disneyland Paris and other resorts now offer paid reserved viewing areas, which guarantee a front-row view via the app without the multi-hour wait. A "pro-tip" for 2026: if you are watching the second parade of the day, stand near the Town Square fire station; the parade often ends there, allowing you to beat the mass exodus of guests heading toward the park exit.

People Also Ask

There are normally two parades each day. The first parade starts at It's a Small World and head towards Main Street and ends down in Town Square around by the Mad Hatter. Then the second parade (usually a few hours later) will come back the opposite direction, start in Town Square and end at It's a Small World.
