As of 2026, there is no entirely "new" Disney resort (like a Disney Brazil or Disney India) currently under construction; however, a massive "new" gate is being built within the existing Disneyland Paris resort. Previously known as Walt Disney Studios Park, it is being completely reimagined and renamed Disney Adventure World, with a grand opening scheduled for March 29, 2026. This expansion includes the highly anticipated World of Frozen, a new Lion King immersive land, and a massive central lake called Adventure Bay. In the United States, Disney is focusing on "Disneyland Forward" in Anaheim, California, which will effectively create new "theme park-sized" lands integrated into the existing resort footprint. While rumors often swirl about a third U.S. location or a park in the Middle East, Disney's current multi-billion dollar investment strategy is firmly focused on expanding its existing hubs in Paris, California, and Florida.
