As of early 2026, SkyTeam remains one of the three major global airline alliances, consisting of 20 member airlines. The core carriers include Delta Air Lines (USA), Air France-KLM (France/Netherlands), and Korean Air (South Korea). Other prominent members include Aeroméxico, Aerolineas Argentinas, China Eastern, Czech Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, ITA Airways, Middle East Airlines (MEA), Saudia, TAROM, Vietnam Airlines, and XiamenAir. Notably, Virgin Atlantic joined the alliance recently, providing a strong UK presence. SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) also joined SkyTeam in 2024, shifting away from Star Alliance. Membership allows travelers to earn and redeem miles across the entire network, access over 750 airport lounges, and enjoy "SkyPriority" benefits—including expedited security and boarding—at almost every major international hub worldwide.
