Which All Stars have been renovated?

All three of the All-Star resorts at Disney World are taking turns to be refurbished. The three hotels are Disney's All-Star Movies, All-star Music and All-Star Sports resorts. They are part of the 5 Value family resorts at Disney World.



As of early 2026, all three of Disney’s All-Star Resorts (Movies, Music, and Sports) have completed their major room refurbishments. A supportive peer "resort" update: the old "double beds" and carpeted floors have been replaced with queen-sized beds (including one Murphy bed that converts into a table) and hard-surface laminate flooring. All-Star Movies was the first to finish, followed by All-Star Music. All-Star Sports was the final one to complete its room refresh in 2024. In 2026, the focus has shifted to "exterior maintenance" and pool refurbishments. For example, the Surfboard Bay Pool at All-Star Sports is undergoing a major refresh from January to April 2026. While the rooms are now "modernized" and much more functional, they have a more minimalist look compared to the highly themed (but cramped) rooms of the past.

All Star Movies was the third All-Star Resort to open after Disney's All-Star Sports Resort and Disney's All Star Music Resort. 101 Dalmatians and Mighty Ducks were the first buildings to open on January 15, 1999, Fantasia and Love Bug opened in March 1999, and Toy Story was the last to open in April 1999.

And as a general rule, you can not walk from All Star Movies to Pop Century. And although it is only about a 3-4 mile difference between the two resorts the main reason is there is not an official walking path.
