The Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts offer spacious multi-room accommodations and flexible room arrangements. Most offer fully-equipped kitchens/kitchenettes. As a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you will stay close to all the fun and excitement, giving you the freedom to coma and go at your own pace.
Escape on your own African safari adventure at this magnificent Resort hotel. Inspired by the traditional African kraal, the horseshoe-curved design offers exquisite views of lush savannas—where over 30 species of African wildlife freely roam.
Stay at a Deluxe Resort if You're Planning to Spend a Lot of Time at the Hotel. If your Disney itinerary contains a lot of time relaxing at your hotel, you may want to consider staying at a Deluxe Resort. These hotels have larger pools (and waterslides!) and more upscale restaurants.
The next phase of the ongoing refurbishment of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village will begin on February 1, 2023. Last year, the Samawati Springs Pool and other areas underwent refurbishment. This next phase will be focused on the roof of the resort and is expected to last through September 2023.
Both pools also require Magic Band or keycard access, limiting their usage to guests of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. While pool hours are flexible, varying by weather and season, both Uzima Springs and Samawati Springs are generally open from either 9AM to 9PM or 10AM to 10PM.
Lucky for you, there's a complimentary shuttle service that runs between Kidani Village and Jambo House. It's super convenient and runs every 20 minutes or so. Once the shuttle arrives, hop on board and enjoy the ride between Kidani Village and Jambo House.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village pool hours are currently 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Please note, these are subject to change depending on weather, cleaning, or depending on the time of year, and when you arrive the pool hours are different.
Deluxe rooms are usually larger than their standard counterparts, may include a bathtub and a shower in the bathroom, and include more high-end amenities.
Premium rooms have better amenities. Bigger tv, pillow top mattress covers, frig and microwave, and a box of goodies. Deluxe rooms are a step down from that. And regular double rooms have none of that.
When considering both ticket prices and hotel prices, Early January through Presidents' Day weekend is the cheapest time to go to Disney World. The next cheapest time to visit Disney World would be late August through early September and non-holiday weekdays during October, November, and December.
While the animals are roaming freely and therefore unpredictable, in my opinion, the best place for great views of giraffes is the Sunset Savanna at Kidani Village, so, I would suggest booking a stay in a Savanna View Villa at this fabulous Resort.
