While all DVC resorts are magical, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas Resort has a little extra magic: animals! This sprawling resort is comprised of two different sections, Jambo House and Kidani Village, each with their own unique savannas.

While the animals are roaming freely and therefore unpredictable, in my opinion, the best place for great views of giraffes is the Sunset Savanna at Kidani Village, so, I would suggest booking a stay in a Savanna View Villa at this fabulous Resort.
Lucky for you, there's a complimentary shuttle service that runs between Kidani Village and Jambo House. It's super convenient and runs every 20 minutes or so. Once the shuttle arrives, hop on board and enjoy the ride between Kidani Village and Jambo House.

Animal Kingdom LodgeIf you go for an evening meal to AKL (Jiko or Boma), go early to view the animals, around 5pm, because that's when the feeding troughs are filled, and it tempts the animals nearer the viewing areas.
