At Disney's Pop Century Resort, the buildings in the 1960s section (Buildings 4 and 5) are the absolute closest to the Disney Skyliner station. Specifically, Building 4 is positioned directly adjacent to the Generation Gap Bridge, which houses the Skyliner terminal shared with Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Guests staying in the preferred rooms of Building 4 can often walk from their door to the station in under two minutes. Building 5 is also a very short stroll away, located just on the other side of the "Hippy Dippy Pool." If you are staying in the 1950s (Building 3) or the 1970s (Building 6), you will also have a relatively short walk compared to the 1980s and 1990s sections, which are located at the far opposite end of the resort. Because the Skyliner is the primary and most popular transportation method to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, these 1960s buildings are highly coveted and are typically designated as "Preferred" room categories, requiring a slightly higher nightly rate. When checking in, requesting a room "near the bridge" is the best way to ensure you are as close as possible to the gondola system.
