Which Disney resorts can you walk to Hollywood Studios?

If you are looking to walk to Hollywood Studios, you can walk from the following resorts to Hollywood Studios:
  • The Beach Club Resort and Villas.
  • The Yacht Club Resort.
  • The Boardwalk Resort and Villas.
  • The Swan Hotel.
  • The Dolphin Hotel.

There are three primary Disney-owned resorts, plus two third-party hotels, that offer a dedicated walking path to Disney's Hollywood Studios. The closest options are Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and Disney's Beach Club Resort. These "Epcot Area" resorts are connected to the park by a scenic paved pathway that runs alongside the canal, typically taking between 15 to 25 minutes depending on your pace. Additionally, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin (and the Swan Reserve) are located along this same waterway and offer walking access. While the path is well-lit and beautiful, many guests find it physically demanding in the Florida heat and may opt for the "Friendship Boats" or the Disney Skyliner instead. This walking access is a major "pro" for these resorts as it allows you to bypass the long morning lines for buses or gondolas.

Hollywood Studios is not directly accessible by the Walt Disney World Monorail. Conceivably, a guest could take the Monorail from the TTC to EPCOT, walk across the park to the International Gateway, then either walk or take a Friendship Boat to the Studios, though this would take a long time.
