In 2026, Jet2.com is in the midst of a massive fleet transformation, shifting its "Gold Standard" away from an all-Boeing lineup to include modern Airbus aircraft. The grounded "workhorse" of the fleet remains the Boeing 737-800NG, with over 90 aircraft in operation, many of which have been retrofitted with "Split Scimitar Winglets" to improve fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. However, the airline is rapidly integrating the Airbus A321neo, with a firm order for 155 of these high-fidelity, fuel-efficient jets. These new planes provide a more supportive passenger experience with quieter engines and larger cabins. While the older Boeing 737-300s are being phased out (primarily operating from Leeds/Bradford during the transition), and the Boeing 757s have been officially retired, Jet2 continues to maintain a supportive and reliable fleet that prioritizes short-to-medium haul holiday routes across Europe and the Mediterranean.
