Kids aqua park Splashaway Bay on Wonder of the Seas welcomes the youngest of travelers to play poolside with waterslides, fountains, water cannons, a drench bucket and more.
Royal Caribbean is known for Splashaway Bay on many of its ships. The area has a ton of water features that allow kids to get wet and is a lot more fun and more interactive than just swimming in a pool. CocoCay has its own version of Splashaway Bay, and it's completely free.
On Freedom and Oasis class ships, plus Anthem of the Seas, children in nappies – or who aren't toilet trained – can use the Baby Splash Zone. On all other ships, children in nappies – including swim-safe versions – or who aren't toilet trained are not allowed in the H2O zones, pools or whirlpools.
There's heart-pumping adventure to be found everywhere on board Symphony, Harmony of the Seas and the newly amplified Oasis of the Seas, and this particular experience begins on the top deck—150 feet above sea level—on a see-through glass platform. Can people swim at night on a cruise ship? It depends on the ship and the weather. Most pools close in the evening although hot tubs usually stay open later. In rough weather, pools are usually closed, and often drained.
Your baby is also welcome to sleep in the bed with you, or you are welcome to bring your own travel crib. Older toddlers can sleep on pullout sofas (make sure one is available in your cabin before booking) or in a bed or rollaway cot, but cruise ships will not provide bed rails.
Absolutely! Beach chairs and umbrellas are complimentary to all of our guests and can be found throughout the island. Complimentary beach towels are available onboard your ship, can be brought onto the island, and exchanged throughout the day as desired at three towel exchange stations.
Adrenaline seekers will find an upcharge for Thrill Waterpark, the Zipline and CocoCay's Up, Up and Away balloon ride. Shore excursions such as kayaking, parasailing or swimming with pigs will also incur a charge. Beach rentals of snorkel equipment or floating mats are available onsite at CocoCay for a surcharge.
