BA has 16 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.These feature 14 First Class seats, 56 Club World seats, 44 World Traveller Plus seats and 183 World Traveller seats. BA has leased 4 additional Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. These feature a modified 8 seat First Class cabin, and the Club Suite.
For one, the Airbus A380 has almost double the space onboard compared to the Boeing 777 series, thanks to its second level. This means the airline can afford to be a little more abundant with its first class and business class offerings onboard the A380 compared to the Triple Seven.

"We've been closely involved in the 777 program since its start up until this latest generation of 777X aircraft.
The global A350 fleet had completed more than 1,175,000 flights on more than 1070 routes without accidents. It succeeds the A340 and competes against Boeing's large long-haul twinjets: the Boeing 787, the Boeing 777, and its successor, the 777X.
Developed in consultation with eight major airlines, the 777 program was launched in October 1990, with an order from United Airlines. The prototype was rolled out in April 1994, and first flew in June. The 777 entered service with the launch operator United Airlines in June 1995.
The Boeing 787 has similar safety features to the 777, but also features improvements such as a wider and longer aisle space for passengers and smoother engine takeoff capability which can reduce air turbulence and improve safety during takeoffs.
Among its notable creations are the twin-engine, wide-body Boeing 777, also known as 'Triple Seven', and the Boeing 787, known as Dreamliner. While the two aircraft may seem similar, airlines often choose between them based on their distinct advantages and disadvantages.
