Who is the general contractor in Disney Cotino?

Storyliving by Disney™ Announces WPG as Homebuilder in Inaugural Cotino™ Community. Woodbridge Paci?c Group (WPG) is thrilled to have been announced as one of the premier homebuilders in Cotino, the ?rst Storyliving by Disney community located in Rancho Mirage, California.

DMB Development serves as the master developer for Cotino, the first "Storyliving by Disney" community located in Rancho Mirage, California. While Disney provides the creative vision, branding, and management through its Imagineers, the physical construction of the homes and infrastructure is handled by a group of third-party general contractors and builders. Notable participating builders in 2026 include Davidson Communities, Shea Homes, and Woodbridge Pacific Group. These contractors are responsible for the "Grand" and "Estate" collections of homes, as well as the 55+ specific neighborhoods. DMB Development coordinates these various contractors to ensure the community—including the 24-acre "Grand Oasis" crystalline lagoon—meets the rigorous aesthetic and quality standards set by Disney, effectively acting as the operational bridge between Disney's magic and the reality of California real estate development.
