If you have used Disney’s PhotoPass service but your pictures are not appearing in the My Disney Experience app, there are several common technical and logistical reasons. First, ensure that your MagicBand, MagicBand+, or park ticket was successfully scanned by the photographer or at the end of the ride; for some attractions, "automatic" linking relies on Bluetooth, so your phone's Bluetooth must be turned on and the app must have permission to access your location. Second, there can be a delay of up to 24 hours for photos to be processed and uploaded, especially during peak seasons or for photos that require manual "linking" by the Disney team. Another common issue is that the photos may be linked to a different member of your "Family & Friends" list; check if the person who made the reservation can see them. Additionally, ensure your account is correctly linked to your Memory Maker purchase. If the photos are still missing after 48 hours, you can use the "Missing Photos" tool on the Disney website, where you can provide the date, time, and location of the photo, along with a description of what you were wearing, and Disney’s digital imaging team can usually locate and restore the lost memories for you.
