This probably seems obvious, but the weather can and does affect the Skyliner and how it operates. When it's raining hard or storming, it can close down completely. This is especially true if there is lightning!

This transportation system might have a temporary closure in early 2024. Disney hasn't made any announcements yet, but we saw refurbishment closures in both 2022 and 2023. In 2022, the Skyliner was closed from January 23rd through January 28th, and in 2023 it was closed from January 22nd through the 29th.
Are there long lines to board Skyliner? During the morning and evening rush lines can be as long as 15 to 20 minutes at the Caribbean Beach station.
