Are Jet2 plane seats small?

Service etc was good and I was happy until I sat down. The seats were just incredibly small and uncomfortable, much smaller than usual. I had long leg room so the tray was supported by the seat arm. however the seat arm was so narrow that the tray had to be slotted in as an add on by the air hostess.

Based on our experiences Jet2 do have more legroom, even if the seat pitch is the same or less. It's not noticeable to me because I'm only petite, but Mr LS is far from petite and he has a tiny bit of room between his knees and the seat on Jet2, whereas on Ryanair they're firmly wedged into the seat in front.
